Picture this: a scorching summer’s day in the southern Brazilian city of Porto Alegre. Fifteen characters
walk around the streets and buildings of this crazy town in perpetual motion, their movements filmed in one
continuous, 82-minute take.
This endless shot takes playful delight in its own freedom, with the medium becoming the message and the
plot taking something of a back seat. You'll reach the ending of the film with the sensation of having
gate-crashed a party where - instead of getting kicked out - you've been encouraged to get merrily
drunk with the guests.
This funny and surprising film is the first long-take feature ever made in Brazil!. Music by Arthur
de Faria e Seu Conjunto and Damn Laser Vampires.
